The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Enugu State Zonal Command on Wednesday announced it has taken into custody no fewer than 100 suspected internet fraudsters.
According to the Zonal command, the suspects were apprehended on Wednesday in various parts of the state.
Speaking on the development in a statement issued via his X handle, the anti-graft agency said the arrest was made in response to actionable intelligence about the suspected operations of an organised network of internet fraudsters operating along Ibagwa-Nike and other sites in Enugu city.

Three exotic automobiles, mobile phones, and laptop computers were among the items recovered.
According to the post, the accused will face court after the investigations are completed.
