Godwin Obaseki has revealed that he visited the State Collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to get first-hand information about the collation process.
Sunday Telegraph had earlier reported that Governor Obaseki alongside the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Asue Ighodalo and other supporters stormed the State Collation at the INEC office in Benin City in the early hours of the day.

While the governor later left the collation centre, he said his visit was after failed attempts to reach the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Edo State, Anugbum Onuoha.
