Edo Poll: Group Endorses Ighodalo, Warns Against Split Voting

Esan sociocultural group, Esan4OsadebeHouse – 2024Team, has thrown its weight behind the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, Dr Asue Ighodalo.

In a communiqué yesterday, the group urged Esan sons and daughters to unite and vote for Ighodalo, warning against the dangers of vote splitting and division.

The group argued that the Esan nation is at a critical juncture in its history, with the opportunity to produce the governor of the state, and cannot afford to squander such a chance.

They warned that allowing emotions to dictate actions and fragmenting support could inadvertently contribute to the victory of opposing forces, specifically the Labour Party (LP).
