Ebonyi State Commissioner for Power and Energy, Chief Peter Oge Ali, has restated the state government’s commitment to the restoration of electricity supply to Afikpo and other communities in the state.
Ali gave the assurance yesterday while giving account of his stewardship in the N200 million released by Governor Francis Nwifuru for the restoration of power to the community and other parts of Ebonyi South senatorial district.
Apparently referring to insinuations made by the lawmaker representing Afikpo North East Constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon Ukie Ezeali, alluding that the funds were diverted, Ali debunks the allegation as baseless.
