Ebonyi Recruits 1,500 New Workers

A total of 1,500 candi – dates were successful in the recent recruitment carried out by the Ebonyi State Civil Service Commission. Chairman Catherine Ogbu said this in Abakaliki on Monday.

She said the recruitment followed Governor Francis Nwifuru’s directive in November 2023. Ogbu said: “No administration since the state was created in October 1996 has employed such a large number of people in a single recruitment.

“This unprecedented employment drive marks a significant step in the administration’s commitment to job creation and empowerment.”

She urged the new workers to be grateful to God for using the governor to bring them into the civil service.
