A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ishiagu Ivo Local Government Area Ebonyi State Boniface Igwe has urged the party faithful to remain resolute and be united despite the prevailing harsh economic realities.

Igwe spoke at the weekend in Amaeze ward during a get-together he organized for members of the party to climax the celebration of the new yam festival in the Ishiagu community. He said the party was being repositioned to take its proper position ahead of the 2027 general election.

Igwe said: “I commend all party faithful for the support to PDP and the state governorship candidate in the 2023 election Chief Ifeanyi Odii.”

He extolled the leadership qualities of Chief Odii describing him as a leader of impeccable character. He said: “I advise you not to lose faith in the party; PDP is being strengthened and repositioned ahead of 2027.
