Cook-A-Thon: US Resident Gift Chef Dammy N1m

Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, better known as Chef Dammy has been gifted a sum of N1 million by a United States resident for being bold to take up a 120-hour cook-a-thon.

Recall that Chef Dammy embarked on a quest of 120 hours of cook-a-thon on Friday, June 9 to break Hilda Baci’s record who cooked for 100 hours a few weeks ago.

However, after Chef Dammy made the attempt to cook for 120 hours, an Influencer identified as Maria Ude Nwachi made a public financial pledge to Dammy, saying it was from a client of hers.

The influencer went further to share the screenshot on her page of the client stating that the N1 million was ‘support for Damilola’s outstanding attempt at reaching a record in the Guinness Book of Records for longest cooking hours by an individual.’
