Two Chinese Coast Guard vessels, Meishan and Xiushan has arrived in Vladivostok, Russia for a joint military exercise dubbed “Pacific Patrol 2024.”
New Telegraph reports that the exercise will include coordinated patrols and training by the military.
This new development, however, marks a continued strengthening of military ties between China and Russia, following a recent joint naval drill in the Sea of Japan.

This increased cooperation comes amid growing concerns in the West about the alliance between the two nations as they seek to challenge United States (US)-led global influence.
