China has called on its citizens in Israel to leave “As soon as possible” due to rising tensions and the worsening security situation between Israel and Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group in Lebanon.
In a statement issued by the Chinese Embassy in Israel on Sunday, citizens were urged to either return home or relocate to safer areas immediately.
“Currently, the situation along the Israel-Lebanon border is extremely tense, with frequent military conflicts,” the embassy warned.
It emphasized that the security environment in Israel is “severe, complex, and unpredictable,” advising Chinese nationals to prioritize their safety.

This advisory comes as tensions continue to escalate between Israel and Hezbollah, with both sides threatening to intensify cross-border attacks despite international pleas for restraint.
It will be recalled that on Friday, an Israeli airstrike in a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut killed Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force.
The airstrike followed a deadly series of blasts on Tuesday and Wednesday, which targeted communications devices across Lebanon.
The explosions claimed 39 lives and left nearly 3,000 people injured, with Israel being blamed for the attacks.
China’s latest advisory is coming following a similar warning last month when it urged its citizens to leave Lebanon after an Israeli strike in the country killed a senior Palestinian militant.
As the situation remains volatile, the international community continues to call for de-escalation, but the risks of an all-out war in the region persist.
China’s embassy reiterated its appeal for its citizens to take immediate steps to ensure their safety amid the ongoing conflict.
