Controversial social media activist, Martins Otse, better known as Verydarkman has reacted to the South African model, Chidimma Adetshina win as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
Sunday Telegraph reports that Chidimma faced severe backlash following her participation in Miss South Africa 2024 after which she was compelled to withdraw for several reasons.
However, she emerged victorious over 24 other contestants in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, stirring mixed reactions.

Reacting, Verydarkman stated that the model who represented Taraba State won out of pity and not by merit.
According to VDM, Chidimma does not deserve to have been crowned winner as it diminishes the effort of other contestants who had prepared all year.
He said: “Because the girl get small problem for South Africa, una invite am come Nigeria make she be Miss Universe.
“How about the people that have been preparing for this thing for a long time? You people gave her by pity and not be merit; this is not fair,”
Verydarkman further emphasized her inability to speak the language of the state she represented despite her Nigerian roots while her only reason for visiting Nigeria was due to her issue in South Africa.
