Inter Milan is reportedly open to allowing Andre Onana to depart this summer just days after Chelsea was linked with a move for the Cameronian international.
Just under a year has passed since Onana joined the Serie A giants on a free transfer from Ajax and he began the season acting as backup to Sami Handanovic before replacing the long-serving veteran in the early months of the campaign.
Onana has kept his place in the Inter lineup throughout the season and has gone on to make 36 appearances in all competitions, playing a lead role in helping his side reach the semi-final of the Champions League.
However, Italian outlet TuttoSport has claimed Chelsea has shown an interest in Onana and revealed Inter would be open to selling the keeper if around £50m were to be offered from the Stamford Bridge hierarchy.
A source for the outlet has stated that the Blues are ‘closely monitoring’ Onana, who is said to be one of their ‘main targets’ for the summer transfer window.
Intriguingly, the report also revealed that Inter have already identified a replacement for Onana and will make a move for Empoli stopper Guglielmo Vicario if the Cameroonian goalkeeper is to leave.
