Chef Dammy Speaks On Earning N2m In Cook-A-Thon

Chef Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has come forward to address the rumours circulating online regarding a car and substantial earnings from her recent cook-a-thon.

Taking to her Twitter page @dammypas, she shared a video to clarify the false report, stating that she has not received any significant financial gains from the event.

This is coming barely 72 hours after she completed her highly publicized 120-hour cook-a-thon.

New Telegraph gathered that after her 120 hours cooking marathon, rumours began to circulate about her acquiring a car and earning a substantial amount of money during the event.

Reacting to the rumour, the Ekiti-born chef stated that the rumours are unfounded, emphasizing that she has neither received a car nor seen any significant earnings.

She, however, addressed her fans and followers, hoping for a car, stating that she had heard rumours of a car being promised to her, but as of now, she has not received it.

She assured her supporters that if the car indeed materializes, she will celebrate the milestone with them and share the joy through photos and posts on social media.

She also debunks the claims of earning a large sum of money during the cook-a-ton, according to her, the actual amount she earned during the event is not even close to 2 million naira, contrary to what has been circulating online.

She referred to the rumours of significant earnings as “audio money,” indicating that she has not personally witnessed or received such funds.
