Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has described Peter Obi of the Labour Party, (LP), as a “man of destiny”.
The singer has taken to his verified Twitter handle on Friday to applaud and rain accolades on the former Anambra State Governor, noting that Obi has inspired a generation of exceptional Nigerian people, including the youths.
According to him, Peter Obi would be remembered for his character, compassion, fairness, and benevolence, adding that he has also shown respect for the people and life in general.
The foremost singer, however, assured that new Nigerian is only with Peter Obi.
He wrote, “Here’s to a man who has inspired a generation of exceptional Nigerian People/Youths. A Man of Destiny.
“You have lived in such a way that you’ll be remembered for your character, compassion, fairness, benevolence, and a force for good who have shown respect for the people, for life, in general.
“Odogwu Okwute Peter Obi.
