Buhari honours Adeola with CON award

Senator Solomon Adeola aka Yayi (APC, Lagos West), the chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance has been awarded the national honour in the rank of “Commander of the Order of Niger”, CON, by President Muhammadu Buhari. The letter conveying the approval of the President with Ref. No. FMSDIGA/ NHA/001/T/85 dated September 16, was signed by the Minister of Special Duties and Inter- Government Affairs, Senator George Akume. In the letter, according to a statement issued by Adeola’s Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, stated that the conferment ceremony for the award is fixed for October 11. Adeola, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Fellow of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.
