President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday returned to Abuja after completing a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom (UK).
Saturday Telegraph reports that the vacation was embarked on during the President’s annual leave.
Announcing his arrival to the country, the presidential aide Dada Olusegun wrote on his X account, “The eagle has landed, Welcome home, Mr President.”
President Tinubu was warmly received at the airport by a delegation of top government officials.
Present at the airport are the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje.
Also, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu were at the airport to receive the president.

The President’s return comes as the nation anticipates further developments in his administration’s agenda.
During his absence, government operations continued under the supervision of Vice President Kashim Shettima, with key national issues remaining on track.
It would be recalled that Tinubu departed Abuja two weeks ago to the United Kingdom (UK) shortly after the President returned from London where he met with King Charles III.
Tinubu’s vacation is a customary part of his yearly leave as he resumes official duties upon his return to the capital.
