Borno: 85 Terrorists Killed As Boko Haram, ISWAP Clash

Terrorist groups, Boko Haram and the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) on Thursday clashed in Borno State, resulting in the deaths of at least 85 terrorists.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad made the disclosur in a post on his X handle on Friday.

According to him, the ceaseless, highly increased clashes of supremacy took place between April 24 and 25, 2024.

Makama further stated that as a result of the development, the rival part of Boko Haram has been forced off many islands that it had previously taken from the ISWAP groups.
