Bobrisky Files ₦1bn Lawsuit Against VeryDarkMan

Amid the ongoing bribery scandal, Nigerian controversial socialite and crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against Martins Otse, also known as “VeryDarkMan.”

In the lawsuit, Bobrisky accused VeryDarkMan of defamation, stemming from allegedly damaging statements and exposed audio contents made against him on various social media platforms.

The legal documents filed by Bobrisky’s counsel sighted by Sunday Telegraph revealed that Bob is seeking a formal written apology from the accused, to be published in two widely circulated national newspapers.

Additionally, Bobrisky is demanding that a video apology be published across all social media platforms where the alleged defamatory remarks were initially shared.

The legal suit also includes a restraining order, requesting that the defendant desist from making or publishing any further defamatory content aimed at tarnishing Bobrisky’s reputation.

Central to the lawsuit is a demand for ₦1 billion in damages to compensate for the emotional, reputational, and financial harm caused by the alleged slander.

This legal move comes in the midst of the bribery scandal that has recently swept through social media circles, involving Bobrisky and officers of the Nigerian Correctional centre.

However, the defendant, Very Dark Man, has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit or the demands.

Following the lawsuit, the social media is already abuzz with reactions, as supporters of both Bobrisky and Very Dark Man weigh in on the controversy.
