
The Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro on Tuesday sued for peace in the Benue State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and urged supporters to be calm and tone down on violent rhetorics that are capable of further polarizing the party.
Senator Moro charged members to be tolerant of one another, no matter the differences and appealed to all aggrieved persons to sheathe their swords and allow for robust discussions that will unify the party.
He said in a statement by his media aide, Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, that “leaders of the party in the state are working tirelessly towards resolving all teething issues in the aftermath of the party’s congresses with a view to addressing all grievances and restoring lasting peace”.
Senator Moro who represents Benue South senatorial district,
said “PDP remains the only credible alternative to the ruling party which has brought so much pains on Nigerians”, and assured that the party will bounce back stronger and better to reclaim its winning ways and provide the needed leadership a new and better for the suffering masses”.
