Benue Farmers’ll Have Right Value For Their Farm Produce, Alia Assures

Following the innovation made by the Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC), the state governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has assured farmers will receive fair compensation for their agricultural products.

The Governor made this known on Thursday while speaking at the project commissioning of the BIPC in Makurdi, the state capital

In commemoration of his first year in office, Governor Alia reaffirmed the administration’s goal to revitalise and develop at least ten industries.

“My government will support BIPC with an equity stake to float the Benue brewery and establish a juicer factory in the State.

“These steps are taken to ensure that our teeming youths would be gainfully employed and our farmers will have the right value for their farm produce.”
