Bayer Leverkusen Sign German International Winger

Bayer Leverkusen have completed the signing of German international midfielder, Jonas Hofmann from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The 30-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Die Werkself after Leverkusen triggered his €10 million release clause.

Hofmann scored 40 goals and provided 40 assists in over 180 appearances for Gladbach, with his recent form earning him a call-up to Germany’s World Cup  2022 squad.

Speaking on the club’s official website, the winger said: “I am very grateful to Borussia for the past seven years. I had an outstanding time there.

Hofmann will don the no.7 shirt for Xabi Alonso’s side.
