Bayelsa State House of Assembly members elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have expressed appreciation to Governor Douye Diri for the role he played in their victory during the last legislative election in the state. Recall that all those elected in the recently-concluded election were given their certificates of return yesterday in Yenagoa by the resident electoral commissioner of the state. Speaking on behalf of 17 PDP assembly members that paid the governor a thank-you visit at the Government House, Yenagoa, Speaker of the Assembly, Abraham Ingobere, assured the governor of the readiness of the legislators to continually support his administration to deliver good governance in the state. Ingobere said beyond supporting the programmes and policies of the administration, the members-elect will also work for his re-election to enable him continue his good works.
