Bauchi Gov Helps Journalist Suffering From Brain Tumour With N5m

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has donated N5 million to support a female journalist suffering from a brain tumour.

Daily Post’s Hafsat Adebayo, who is hospitalised at the Jos Teaching Hospital (JUTH) to undergo a second surgery, has been suffering from the disease for over five years.

The governor, who presented a cheque of N5 million to the Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel Ahmed Mohammed, stressed his commitment to supporting those in need like Hafsat Adebayo.

He said the donation follows an earlier contribution of N1.3 million. The chairman thanked the governor for his kind gesture, support and concern for the members of the chapel and media in the state.
