Bauchi Gov Fires Chief Security Adviser

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has sacked his Chief Security Adviser, Ahmed Chiroma. His sacking was conveyed to him through a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government Ibrahim Kashim.

Mukthar Gidado, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the governor, made the announcement on Wednesday.

He said: “The former Chief Security Adviser was directed to hand over to the Governor’s Chief Security Officer (CSO).

“Governor Bala Mohammed on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State thanks the former Chief Security Adviser for his services to the state.”

However, no reasons were given for Chiroma’s sacking as of the time of filing this report.
