Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Friday celebrated the wedding ceremony of his daughter, Laila Atiku, to Saleh Maitala during a ceremony held at the National Mosque in Abuja.
The wedding marked the culmination of a traditional process that began last year when Atiku hosted the groom’s family for a formal request of Laila’s hand in marriage.

Sharing the joyous ceremony on his verified X handle, the two term PDP presidential candidate expressed his happiness.
He wrote, “The joy of giving away a daughter in marriage supported by family and friends is priceless.”
He wished the newlyweds a blessed marriage and extended his gratitude to the dignitaries, associates, and friends who attended the wedding Fatiha.
