The ruling party made this announcement on Monday in a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

“New dates for the meetings will be communicated in due course.”

While the party did not provide an official reason for the postponement, sources within the party indicated that President Bola Tinubu’s absence from the country was a key factor.

Also, a source within the APC secretariat explained that uncertainty over whether Tinubu would attend the meetings, due to international commitments, led to the decision to delay the gatherings.

New dates for the National Caucus and NEC meetings will be announced as soon as necessary arrangements are made.
