APC Convention: CECPC resolves to set up budget, other committees

The Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee CECPC has resolved to set up a budget sub-committee and other relevant ones for its National Convention slated for February next year.

 

The Committee made the resolution after its meeting on Monday, which was held at the National Secretariat of the party.

 

Some of the Caretaker Committee members that attended the meeting were: governors of Niger and Osun states, Sani Bello and Gboyega Oyetola, Senator Yusuf Yusuf, former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, Secretary of the Committee, Senator John Akpanudoudehe and Chairman of the Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

 

The Committee did not give a date in February for the Convention.

 

However, in the statement read by the secretary of the Committee after hours of the meeting, the Committee passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari for his pro-human policies.

 

The statement further stated that the party deliberated on the planned National Convention and resolved to set up sub-committees on budgeting and other relevant structures for the National Convention.
