A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Barrister Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, has joined the legion of Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s well-wishers to extolled the State Governor on his 59th birthday, describing him as a shining example amongst his peers who is always after the welfare of his people.
Rosiji said Governor Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated his love and passion for the welfare of the people.
She said the Governor’s leadership has been defined “not by title, position or duration in office, but by his “exceptional pedigree, programs, and policies that have made tangible impacts across various spheres of our State”.
She also expressed delight to see the Governor attain “this milestone with a remarkable record of excellence in both the private and public sectors, where your influence has been profoundly felt.”
Rosiji who recently embarked on sensitization of Ojokoro residents on how to live hygienic lifestyle that prevents the spread of cholera pandemic, described the Lagos governor as a selfless and humble leader who has the interests of others at heart.
He is “a selfless and humble leader who prioritizes the well-being of others, and his dedication to the greater good is truly inspiring”
Adding that the Governor has consistently demonstrated uncommon ability to deliver results, drive sustainable growth, and effectively manage resources.
She said “great leaders throughout history have shaped great eras by rising to the challenge of their people and making a lasting difference. This is what our Governor has done.
“While no earthly reward can fully compensate him for his tireless efforts, we can only offer our prayers that God continues to guide and support the governor as he strives to achieve his greater Lagos vision to the benefit of the state” Rosiji stated.
She added: “Your unwavering focus on fulfilling your campaign promises through the T.H.E.M.E.S. Plus agenda has yielded remarkable achievements in infrastructure, education, agriculture, health, security, and other areas of human endeavor.”
Barrister Adenike urged the Governor to please “continue to be an inspiration to us all”
She also used the opportunity to advise Lagosian on the need to complement efforts of the Sanwo-Olu administration towards achieving a greater Lagos. Particularly as the state is doing everything possible to curtail the cholera pandemic.
“Indiscriminate defecation and waste disposal is a major cause of cholera, therefore, it becomes a collective responsibility of citizens to change our orientation to these things so as to ensure a safe environment for ourselves.” She concluded.
