A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State Ilyasu Kwankwaso has fingered the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) National Leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in the suspension of Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Abdullahi Bappah Bichi from the party.
Addressing reporters in Kano yesterday, Ilyasu said Bichi’s suspension had vindicated his position on Rabiu Kwankwaso.
He said: “I have been in the vanguard of highlighting the negative and imperial tendencies of Kwankwaso who is always ready to deal ruthlessly with whoever goes against his mission regardless of the consequences.”
The APC chief accused the former governor of lying that he did not ask the NNPP Chairman Hashim Dungurawa to suspend the SSG from the party. Ilyasu said: “I have been vindicated over my several comments that Kwankwaso will pocket Governor Abba Yusuf.
“Whatever I said to Kwankwaso on his alleged plans and move to cage whoever in his party has started manifesting through the recent suspension of the SSG who stood his ground against Kwankwaso’s neo-colonial imperialism tendencies.”
