Prolific Nollywood actress, filmmaker and producer, Funke Akindele has taken to her Instagram page to react after her blockbuster movie “A Tribe Called Judah” missed out on all nominations at the just concluded 10th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Saturday Telegraph reports that her movie was nominated in there categories; Best Movie, Best Lead Actress, and Best Makeup Artist.
Despite three nominations, her movie fell short, with Kehinde Bankole clinching the Best Lead Actress award for “Adire” and “Breath of Life” securing the Best Movie title.

However, after the just concluded award night, Funke took to her Instagram story to react to her loss, leaving a dark, blank page, which could possibly portray a sign of disappointment, for losing all three nominations.
It would be recalled that “A Tribe Called Judah” had made waves as the highest-grossing Nollywood film, with over one billion naira at the box office.
