Agriculture Minister Launches APC Young Farmers Network

The Minister of State for Agriculture, Abdullahi Sabi Aliyu, has inaugurated the Progressive Young Farmers Network/Cooperative Society.

The event held during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Progressive Young Leaders Summit organised by the APC National Youth leader Dayo Israel is a youthled initiative aimed at revolutionising the agricultural landscape to equip young farmers with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

The National Youth Leader, in collaboration with Galaxy Inter Link and the Progressive Young Farmers Network, will be holding a two-day training session on agribusiness and sustainable agricultural practices.

According to a release, the intensive training program, scheduled for today and Wednesday is tailored for young farmers and agriculture enthusiasts eager to revolutionise their farming practices.

The release added that participants will gain hands-on experience and insights in three key areas including, water harvesting for smart agriculture and cutting-edge water management techniques essential for modern, efficient farming.
