African Tourism Icon, St.Ange, Bags Nelson Mandela Leadership Award

African Tourism Icon, Alain St.Ange, who is former Seychelles Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Minister, has been honoured by the Lord Mayor of Oxford, Cllr Lubna Arshad, with the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award. He was presented with the award by Arshad at an NRI Ceremony held recently at Oxford University, United Kingdom. In the colourful ceremony the distinguished NRI Members at the ‘Said Business School’ of the Oxford University, St.Ange delivered an inspiring address at the event.

The ceremony, which was held on May 10, was significant it was the date beneath the British colonial architecture of Pretoria’s Union Building that Nelson Mandela, after 27 years in jail, swore to serve the South Africa as its first Black President in 1994. St.Ange, who is globally recognised for his contribution to tourism, presently heads Saint Ange Consultancy
