Adamawa State Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta has urged residents to protect state infrastructure.
Farauta gave the advice during an interaction organised by the Principal Special Assistant to Governor Fintiri on Social Mobilization, Victor Dogo, on Saturday.
She said: “It gladdens my heart that we are here today to celebrate the name of the man who has changed the name of Adamawa to gold and as citizens, we have seen and appreciated the development of the state.
“Our responsibility is to ensure we protect government infrastructures, I also want to remind us that the governor has policies of infrastructure at heart.”
Dogo said Governor Ahmadu Fintiri had transformed the state into a thriving environment for business and sociopolitical development.
He said: “The governor’s vision and dedication have resulted in an impressive transformation which includes the revitalization of the civil service, extensive infrastructure development, social empowerment schemes, the Fintiri Wallet, student scholarships, free education initiatives, housing estates, healthcare facilities, and an interconnected network of local government roads.”
