Nollywood actor, Dejemi Okanlawon has criticized the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for the arrest of a female lawyer, Ebikpolade Helen, who her office is based in Lekki, Lagos.
New Telegraph had on Saturday reported that Helen, who allegedly specializes in manufacturing and selling skuchies, a combination of cannabis, opiates, and black currant was arrested and detained by the NDLEA.
In a statement made by the agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, Ebikpolade was apprehended in a follow-up operation in Awka, Anambra State, after 5 kg of cannabis and 12 bottles of prepared skuchies were found earlier in her apartment in Lekki.
Reacting to the development, the renowned actor addressed the anti-drug agency in response to the tragic death of 2-year-old Ivan Omhonria Onose, who was struck in the lower abdomen by a stray bullet that was allegedly fired by its police in Asaba, in the comment area of a news blog.

Although the agency assured that investigations have commenced on that unfortunate incident, the actor berated its operatives for killing the toddler in Delta.
Replying to the post, he wrote: “Was this before or after they shot a 2-year-old boy and fled?”
