
Xploits Consulting Limited and Access Bank Plc have trained 48 people on digital skills in the Federal Capital Territory. Dr Tayo Taiwo, Principal Partner, Xploits Consulting Ltd, while addressing participants, said the training would enhance participants` work experience and provide better ways of working. Taiwo said that the organisations trained 48 people in Bwari and Kuje area councils.
He said participants were trained on computer literacy, email communication, internet safety and responsibility, website design, Ms Word, Ms power-point and social media marketing. Taiwo said the purpose of the training was to help develop participants’ productivity since digital skills were very essential to everyday life. “I urge all the participants to pay serious attention during this training as the world is now a global village. “The fact that the world has gone digital has made digital skill a compulsory thing that Nigerians and the world at large must have the experience.
“I am also encouraging you to explore the financial side of digital skills in areas like digital marketing and web design,” he said. Taiwo advised participants to pay more attention to the training to enable them acquire better knowledge and ensure that they would also train other people to promote the digital exercise. He noted that the Xploits Consulting also collaborated with the Access Bank recently to train about 41 people in Kabba Local Government Area of Kogi. Taiwo was represented by Mrs Grace Taiwo, Director Communication, Xploits Consulting Ltd. Mr Gideon Oche, who spoke on behalf of the participants and Kuje Area Council, expressed gratitude to the two organisations for making the training possible. “I thank the two organisations for all their effort in making sure that the training reaches my people in this area.
“I have been looking for a way to acquire this knowledge but could not due to financial constraints but Access Bank Plc and Xploits Consulting Ltd have given us this training free,’’ Oche said. Also, Miss Ojonugwa Jibrin thanked the two organisations for the great opportunity given to them to benefit from the training and promised to make good use of the knowledge.
