The former United States (US) President and Republican candidate for the November 5, 2024, presidential election, Donald Trump on Wednesday ruled out a second debate with rival and Vice President, Kamala Harris.
Trump’s position on the debate came hours after Fox News offered to host a candidate showdown later this month before the election day on November 5.

It would be recalled that both parties have faced off in debate just once, in September, Harris and her campaign have continued to push for a second debate, insisting that voters deserve more opportunities to see the candidates discuss critical issues.
Reacting to the call for debate, Trump who spoke via his Truth social media handle said, “It is very late in the process, (early) voting has already begun, there will be no rematch!”
“Kamala stated clearly, yesterday, that she would not do anything different than Joe Biden, so there is nothing to debate,” Trump added.
Harris had previously challenged Trump to a debate hosted by CNN on October 23, but the former president declined.
